Biography:
Jeff Davis was elected in November 2006 to represent AC Transit's Ward 5. He has been active in transportation at the local government level for the past 17 years, and most recently served as the Administrator of Santa Clara County's Measure B Transportation Improvement Program that built $1.5 billion of rail and highway projects over a nine-year period. Prior to that, Director Davis was the chief fiscal officer of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. In 1996, he was elected to the Fremont Unified School Board where he served one term. Director Davis earned his B.A. at Yale University and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley.
