ACT Web site Access for Users with Disabilities

AC Transit (ACT) has incorporated recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) into the ACT Web site. ACT will also provide alternative media for accessing information about our programs and services. If you have any suggestions for improving accessibility of the ACT Web site, please contact the ACT webmaster.

ACT Web site Access for Users with Visual Disabilities

The ACT Web site is designed for use with a screen reader. In addition, images are accompanied by alternate text image tags supported by browsers with the alt-text function. Pages on which proprietary formats (like Adobe's Portable Document Format, or PDF) also contain links to alternate text or contact information for obtaining documents in an accessible format.
