Most fares increased on July 1 (except Local 31-Day youth tickets and monthly senior/disabled RTC-card stickers). Transbay 10-Ride and 31-Day tickets are no longer sold, but riders can purchase the same cash or pass value on a TransLink card. September 30 is the cut-off date to use old tickets, or riders can opt to exchange unused tickets.

With the upcoming elimination of magnetic-strip transbay 31-Day and 10-Ride tickets, AC Transit's transbay passengers are already making the move to TransLink. As of June 19, AC Transit will no longer sell magnetic-strip transbay tickets and, beginning September 1, the tickets will not be accepted as payment for rides across the bay. Passengers on all transbay lines will need to use TransLink cards or pay their fares in cash.
