On November 18, a Revised Service Adjustments Plan proposal was presented to the AC Transit Board of Directors. The modified plan restores nearly half of the service hours originally proposed to be cut. Many of the restored hours are in the form of increased frequency and operating hours. In some cases, significant routing revisions are proposed. 

It should be noted that implementation of the revised plan is contingent upon the successful redirection of $35 million of Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality program funds from the District's Bus Rapid Transit project.

The public is invited to a community open house to learn more about the revised plan and talk with AC Transit planners.

Comments on the revisions will be accepted through December 2 at 5:00 p.m. and may be offered:

The Board of Directors is expected to consider adopting the Revised Service Adjustments Plan at its December 16 meeting at 6:00 p.m. The Board may adopt, modify, reject, or defer any of the changes proposed. The service changes would likely go into effect March 2010.
